What is a voxel?
A pixel with depth.
A pixel is one tiny point in a flat image. A voxel— short for “volume element” — is its three-dimensional cousin: a small unit of space that helps describe the shape and substance of a digital object.
That idea captures what we love about making. Every ambitious design is built from small choices. One point becomes a form, one layer becomes an object, and one spark of curiosity becomes something real.
How FDM printing works
Built one layer at a time.
Fused Deposition Modeling, or FDM, begins with a spool of filament. The printer warms the material until it can flow through a fine nozzle, then traces the first thin layer of the design onto the build surface.
Layer follows layer with careful movement and controlled heat. Those fine lines bond together as they cool, gradually turning a digital model into a strong physical part. Material, color, supports, and print settings all shape the final result.
